My Bedroom
We are rabbits. We have a new flat. It’s on the third floor. There are two bedrooms, a kitchen, a bathroom and a living room.
I’m a baby rabbit. I have my own room now. It’s small and nice. There is a mirror, a bed and a big closet. There are green curtains and two end tables. There is a new air-conditioner. It’s cool.
I love my new room very much.
一、教學目標:
⑴學生能讀懂閱讀材料,掌握材料中的重點詞彙和句型,並聽懂、會說關於房間內傢俱的.單詞。(重點詞彙:closet/curtain/mirror/air-conditioner/end table重點句型:There is…/There are…)
⑵學生能正確運用已學知識描述房間。

三、教學準備:
CAI課件,各種傢俱彩色圖片,白磁板,兔子頭飾,自制彩色小房屋
四、教學步驟:
Step 1 Warming up
a) Sing a song together
(Ask students to sing the song together, and do the actions.)
Step 2Learning new words
a) Lead in
(Show the photo and a short film about the teacher’s new flat)(教師運用照片和錄影資料,
創設情境,引出生詞)
b) Words
( Teach the key words by using the photos) (多媒體課件顯示照片,教師採用
多種 方式教授重點詞彙)

Step 3Reading the text
a) Ask students to read the text.
①Ask students to read the text, and think about the question (多媒體課件顯示問題:“What are in the baby rabbit’s bedroom?”)
②Ask students to choose the pictures of furnitures which the baby rabbit’s bedroomhas, then put them on the white board.
③Ask group leaders to come to the front, and show their groups’ white boards.
④Check the anwers together.
b) Ask students to listen to the tape.
c)Ask students to read the text after the tape.
d)Ask students to talk about the baby rabbit’s bedroom.
Step 4 Consolidation
a) The teacher creates a situation. (運用多媒體課件,圖片等創設情境:老師的母親將收養四川地震災區孤兒陽陽,請同學們幫助老師為陽陽設計一間漂亮的臥室)
b) Ask students to design a beautiful bedroom for Yangyang.(Ask students to choose the pictures and put them on the white board.)
c) Ask students to talk about the bedroom they’ve designed.
