My motto guides me everyday. It's very helpful to me. It helps me face challenges and takes away my wories. It makes me feel stronger, too. For example, I was sick on a day that I had an important test. I was very nervous and afraid, so I told myself, "Just do your best." 記得有一次，我揹著書包放學回家，飛快地把學校的作業做完了。心想：作業寫完了，我終於可以出去玩兒了。我推開門，前腳剛邁出門檻，媽媽像似早已看出了我的心思，叫住我說：“不許出去玩，家裡的練習冊還沒做呢。”我心裡想：媽媽你就是那“如來佛祖”，而我就是那隻“孫猴子”，是怎麼也逃不出你的手掌心。我極不情願地回到課桌前，看著這一道道練習題，心想：媽媽真煩人，留這麼多作業。如果我不寫，對媽媽說，我發現學校作業有一項沒寫完，是不是練習冊就不用寫了。可我又想：如果媽媽知道了，會打我的.。正當我猶豫不決的時候，我想起了我的座佑銘“少壯不努力，老大徒傷悲。”於是，我拿起筆，做起了題，一直做到睡覺。但我沒有抱怨我的媽媽。因為我明白我要好好讀書，長大後成為祖國的棟樑之才。
還有一次，在英語課上，老師講課十分仔細，也很有趣。我和其他同學都聚精會神地聽老師講課，到了佈置課堂作業的時候了。其他同學都開始認認真真地寫起來了，而我卻覺得累了，不想寫了。我想：就算我下課不交，老師也不會把我怎麼樣的。可我又想：如果我不寫，老師在家長面前就會批評我，回家我該怎麼辦呢？這時，我的座佑銘“少壯不努力，老大徒傷悲”又提醒了我，這句話激起我學習的動力。於是，我便認認真真地寫了起來。
