邀請函是邀請親朋好友或知名人士、專家等參加某項活動時所發的請約性書信。它是現實生活中常用的一種日常應用寫作文種。 邀請函的格式主要有四個部分,分別是標題、稱謂、正文、落款。
一、標題
由活動名稱和文種名組成,還可包括個性化的活動主題標語。如“XX公司年終客戶答謝會邀請函”。活動主題標語可以體現舉辦方特有的'企業文化特色。
二、稱謂
邀請函的稱謂使用“統稱”,並在統稱前加敬語。如 ,“尊敬的× × ×先生/女士”或“尊敬的× × ×總經理(局長)”。
三、正文
邀請函的正文是指商務禮儀活動主辦方正式告知被邀請方舉辦活動的緣由、目的、事項及要求,寫明活動的日程安排、時間、地點,並對被邀請方發出得體、誠摯的邀請。正文結尾一般要寫常用的邀請慣用語。如“敬請光臨”、“歡迎光臨”。
四、落款
落款要寫明禮儀活動主辦單位的全稱和成文日期。

一、被邀請者的姓名應寫全,不應寫綽號或別名。
二、在兩個姓名之間應該寫上"暨"或"和",不用頓號或逗號。
三、應寫明舉辦活動的具體日期(幾月幾日,星期幾)。
