in recent years ninny cities are faced with the problem of heavy traffic. people have to waste more time on their way home or to work and even might be involved in an acci dent. with the development of industry and population epansion, this problem becomes more and more serious.

one solution is to lay down more roads. the solution has many advantages. for e ample, it can efficiently decrease the number of buses and trucks in many main streets. but it will take up so much land that crowded cities become more crowded. another solu tion is to open up more bus lines. if more bus lines should be opened up,the number of bicles and cars in the main streets would be greatly decreased. but the disadvantage of this solution is that many people wouldnt feel so convenient os they used to.

in my opinion, the right solution to the problem is the combination of the two, thatis, to lay down more roads in spacious areas and to open up more bus lines in downtown.

How time flies! I have studied in my school for three years. And I will graduate from middle school in a month. I am eager to share my happiness and sadness with you. I had so many memories in three years’ life. One of them impressed me very much. I still remember, when I began to learn English, I found it too difficult. No matter how hard I tried, I still wouldn't do well in it and almost gave it up.

As soon as my English teacher found my problem, she had a talk with me about how to learn English well. Since then, she has kept helping me. Little by little, I’ve become interested in English and I’m good at it. I think I am so lucky to become one of her students. I’ve learned a lot from her. I will try to help others when they are in trouble. I think it is a happy thing to help others.

We often do not take much notice of the people around us who on public service jobs. These people are train station workers, airline stewardess, firemen, policemen, bus drivers, taxi drivers and soldiers. Only during some accident these people are then the first ones to come to our aid and sometimes at the risk of their own lives.

Recently, I saw a big fire in a ten-story apartment house where firemen worked under great danger. Luckily in this case no one was hurt. Each of us have within us the essence of bravery available on our everyday job, or just going to school, or at home.

Soldiers are called to show bravery in defending their country from aggression. Sometimes during a national disaster such as an earthquake or typhoon soldiers are called to help show bravery and strength.

  Dear parents,

I consider my parents as the most important people in my life. This is not because they’re wealthy or famous. Rather, what I value about most is the care and love they show to me.

My parents might work hard, but they’re always there for me. Whenever I get into trouble and desperately need a hand, they come over first to support me and encourage me. I grew up with their constant care and love. While they’re getting older with grey hair and wrinkles, they never lose dignity in both life and jobs.

From my parents, I have learned that one person can really make a difference. I’ll never forget their care and love. Gratefulness brings a great fullness to life. I wish they could always be happy and healthy. It is high time we expressed our gratitude to people we cherish!
