Mum is fourty years old and acts as an ordinary office worker in a company. She is my first teacher in my life and also is one of my best freinds. When I was young,Mum always stayed beside me and taught me how to walk and how to say "Hello" to others. Step by step, I could walk without anyone's help and speak fluently.Mum is kindly and quite easy to get on well with her. I can not forget those nightgs when Mum sat next to my bed and read stories to me. It is the stories that made me understand how to be a good people .
Mum has many hobbies. She likes watching TV while weaving cloth, also she is interested in climbing mountains. Frequently all my family will have a rest on a hill at weekends. 今年，家住濰坊市奎文區的曾小雨考託福，英語得了讓人意想不到的高分119分(滿分120分)。我們都知道這個分數的含金量，她真行！
曾小雨當年就讀的中新雙語學校數學老師曾經說過：“曾小雨是一個萬里挑一的好學生，她每一次做的數學題都可以作為標準答案。她是各科成績都好，教這樣的孩子又省心又有成就感。”
因為學得非常好，曾小雨看上去要比一般人都輕鬆、快樂、自由，知識面也廣。小學三四年級時，她就讀完了全套中文版《哈利波特》，其它的世界名著更是讀了不少。小學畢業之前就把全套英文版《哈利波特》讀完了。
剛上初中時，小雨提出免修英語，因為她和媽媽都覺得已經學會了的知識沒有必要再學一遍，她有能力不用上初中英語課就達到與之相當的水平。到了高中，她再次向英語老師提出免修英語的要求，英語老師覺得可笑，笑她無知自大，老師還沒有遇到過不用上英語課就把英語學好的孩子。小雨給老師用英文寫了一封信，說明她不用上英語課的理由，老師看後連連稱讚，說她教了一輩子英語，都沒見過英語句子如此連貫、語法措詞如此準確的`學生，於是就允許她在英語課上閱讀課外英文、自學雅思英語。
很多孩子到了青春期就出現很多問題，可小雨卻沒有。閒暇的時候，人們經常看到小雨的父母和小雨一起散步，一起聊天，一起交流人生，那種溫馨真是讓人羨慕。
很多人都說這樣的孩子實在是可遇不可求，但有的家長即使遇到了也未必能培養出這麼出色的孩子。小雨爸媽對孩子的教育非常用心。
曾小雨的爸爸在北京工作，媽媽在濰坊的醫院工作，平時很忙，但是不論多忙，兩口子都沒有忽視小雨的成長。剛上小學，媽媽就很重視她的英語學習。曾小雨在雙語學校上小學，英語課比一般學校要多。媽媽謙虛地說自己聽不懂英語，但會給孩子買各種英語書和磁帶。家裡在任何時候都放著英語磁帶，不強求孩子聽，但是一直放著，培養孩子的語感。
當很多孩子的家長看那些肥皂劇，孩子也跟著上癮，連做作業都寫不安穩，心裡總想著電視劇的情節及後面的劇情時，小雨的媽媽卻在給孩子放英語磁帶聽，不是逼孩子坐下來安靜地聽，而是不管吃飯、洗涮，還是睡前，都給孩子開啟錄音機，放上英語磁帶。當小雨有了一定的詞彙量，媽媽就和她一起看英文頻道的新聞。
對於她們來說，學好英語很簡單，就是得多聽多看多說。簡單，但是要堅持。
很多學生不愛學英語，因為我們中國學生在學英語的過程中，常常是前一個步驟還沒學就學下一個步驟，就像沒學會爬就先學跑。比如有好多中學生沒經過學習字母、音標的過程，以至於到了大學連字母的讀音都讀不正確，音標也認不全。許多學生到了初高中見了有音標的單詞自己也不會讀，只是聽老師怎樣讀，自己就死記住單詞的讀音。
學習任何一門功課都是循序漸進的，可在學英語時，我們學習的某些步驟被中斷了。因為這些步驟的中斷，學起來就比較困難，這也就是為什麼有許多聰明的孩子數理化學得很好，就是對英語不感興趣。
無論在哪個英語學習階段，如果字母、音標不熟的話，就該回過頭去補上這一課，因為這是最基礎最容易學習的，我們不能因為容易就輕視這些最簡單最基礎的知識學習，而學好這些能達到事半功倍的效果。
有的學生學的是啞巴英語，只是看，不讀，也不寫，這是事倍功半的方法。請你記住，學英語，要大聲朗讀。
還有的同學死記單詞，碰到比較長的生詞，一下子就想記住，連續不停地寫十遍二十遍，越寫越心煩，越懷疑自己的記憶能力，這種學習方法在大學裡都存在。碰到比較長的單詞不要死記，寫一兩遍，下一次碰到有個印象就行，有了印象，再遇到時就比較容易記住，而且你還可以過一段時間再複習。
學好英語的方法有很多,可歸結如下:
1、定期學習。每天學習一會兒比一週集中學幾個小時效果要好。所以請你每天擠出一點時間讀寫英語。要記住一篇課文，每天讀兩遍，一個星期就能讀14遍，這樣的記憶效果更佳，可是你把這些工作量集中在一個時間段落內完成，一上午讀一篇課文14遍，只能讓你產生厭煩情緒，而且記憶效果還不行。
２、透過上下文記單詞，別靠死記單詞表。有的同學一見到課文生詞多就一個一個地記憶，並一次把每個單詞寫上十遍二十遍，還咒罵自己記憶力不行，其實不如一次記憶很多單詞多重複幾遍效果更佳。
３、不管對課文理解了多少，儘可能多讀。一個單詞出現在不同課文中三遍，你就能對這個單詞有深刻的印象，可你讀同一篇課文把這個單詞讀上十遍也不一定記住。
4、學會使用一些常用短語。
5、使用不同版本的教材。包括閱讀用的、聽力用的和語法用的。變化學習所用的教材，看不同的書，會更有興趣學。
6、儘可能手寫。拼寫透過手指是最容易被記住的，正是移動的鋼筆寫字時的記憶有助於正確拼寫。所以建議你抄寫句子或課文，抄寫也是一種思考方式。
7、經常拿出以前的課本翻翻看看，這樣省去查詞典的時間，還給你一種學好英語很容易的感覺。
語言是一座堡壘，是需要強攻的。
利用別人經常浪費掉的時間，乘車等車時間，上飯前的時間。
如果你遵守這些規則，你會達到事半功倍的效果，而且要比別的同學學得輕鬆些。
還有，如果有條件，家長要盡力為孩子提供一種英語的語言環境。
