My family is just a typical Chinese family. Loving parents and me as the only child. Sometimes being the only child in a family can be a tricky business. For example, you attract too much attention from your parents because you are the only kid they need to care about. It really bothers me sometime when they constantly keep telling me to keep up with my study and to get good grades in school. However, I think my parents are doing what is best for me. They are always on my side. When I wanted to participate in the school student union election to become the chair of the student union, they were excited about this and helped me in preparing my speech and choosing what to wear on that election day. I also am grateful to them because they've bought me a piano. I love music and although I was not happy to practice for 2 hours everyday when I was a kid, now I see why my parents kind of forced me to practice piano. Now I can work under pressure but still present the good work and keep the good spirit. I can also play piano or electronic keyboard when I'm at a party to impress other people. So a big thank you to my parents and I'm so lucky to be in this family.

In reading we read a story called “ Brave Melissa”. It talks about a little girl who saved her dog that is twice sizes of her. And we also read a story called “ Life Saving Class” , it tells about a kid who wanted to be an lifeguard, so he went to have classes, but we don’t like the sight of blood.
In English we have learned types of sentences, they are Interrogative, Exlamatory, Peclarative and Imperative sentences. In science, we did a fun thing that we took the clay and rolled it into an ball, we made it an falt bottom and then put a starw on the top of it and we put it on our pules, it moved up and down!

In the morning, I saw my mother sweating profusely on the floor. I asked her how you mop the floor every day, and her mother said, "1, you don't speak hygiene. Sometimes you go home from the outside and don't change your slippers. 2 should be open every day with dust in the window. For our health, so I do sanitation every day. And the water used is the cold water before the bath.
Today, I'm going to sweep the yard. I want to do something I can do. I took the broom feel heavy, simply can not control it, as my mother took so handy. I sweep for a while, also a sweat, mom said, yes, good job. I looked back. Oh, it's not clean yet. Mom smiled. "It doesn't matter. You're great, and you'll have to do it tomorrow.".
Also, speaking of civilization, I was criticized by my father today, because I spoke rudely to my mother, and I promised dad to get rid of all the bad habits. Whatever is wrong, change is a good child. My weakness, mother knows most, knows not to say too.
