英語詩歌：I died for Beauty
I died for Beauty ---- but was scarce Adjusted in the Tomb,
我為美而死-----但還不怎麼適應墳墓裡的生活，
When one who died for Truth , was lain in an adjoining room.
這時一位為真理而死的.人被安放在隔壁墓室裡。
He questioned softly"Why I failed?"
他柔聲問：“我為什麼失敗而亡？”
"For Beauty ",I replied.
“為了美”，我回答說。
"And I ----for Truth-----Themself are One-----We Bretheren,are",He said.
“我--------為了真理----------美和真是一樣的----------我們兩是兄弟”，他說
And so, as Kinsmen,met a Night.
就這樣，像親人在夜裡相遇。
We talked between the Rooms
我們隔牆 而談，
Until the Moss had reached ourlips,
直到青苔把我們的嘴封閉，
And covered up ----- our names.
