As soon as I walked outside, I was greeted with the white blanket of cold.
一出門,迎面襲來的就是一股寒氣,展現在眼前的是一個白茫茫的世界。
Despite the chill out there, inside I was warm. I felt as though I could be giving off heat. duanwenw.com I had the desire to stay out in the freezing weather for hours. It was the type of day that speaks to you through its elements. I took a deep breath to hear more snow coming.
儘管感覺很冷,但我的內心卻很溫暖。我感覺自己彷彿能發熱似的。我真希望自己能長時間駐足在這冰天雪地裡。在這種日子裡,大自然會透過冰雪來跟我們交流。我深深地吸了一口氣,靜聽雪花不斷地飄落……
As I walked, I looked up, trying to think of what made this day so beautiful, so peaceful. It was as if time had been put temporarily on hold and I had been along with it. Or maybe I was the only one ...
漫步雪中,舉目四顧,我努力思索著到底是什麼讓這一天變得如此美麗,如此寧靜。這一刻,時間彷彿停滯了,而我也定格在其中。或許,就只有我一個人在前行……
Either way, the loneliness was comforting, and I sensed myself floating away. duanwenw.com I sat down on the edge of a road and listened. All there was to hear was the wind rushing over the top of my head and circling old leaves a few feet away. To me it was the reassuring1 sound of nature, trying not to be forgotten. It did start to snow. The big, fat flakes clung immediately to their surface.

Then it was time to go and my daydream had to end. As I began walking again, I drifted back into this time frame, calm and clear.
該離開了,不能繼續幻想了！我開始繼續前行,思緒也回到了現實之中,此時的我很平靜,很清醒。真下雪了！鵝毛大雪很快就將地面覆蓋了。
Now if only I could remember where I was going.
